Providing networking and UPS support for all of Smartpool's branches located in Maputo, Mozambique. Designed and implemented a Ubiquiti unifiy switch/access points alongside a pfSense firewall to provide a robust, scalable, and secure networking solution. Ubiquiti's high-performance managed switches and Wi-Fi access points ensure seamless connectivity, enhanced bandwidth management, and reliable wireless coverage, improving productivity and customer experience. Meanwhile, pfSense, an open-source firewall, offers advanced security features such as intrusion detection, VPN support, and traffic shaping, protecting the business network from cyber threats and unauthorized access. Together, these solutions provide a cost-effective, enterprise-grade networking infrastructure that enhances performance, security, and scalability, ensuring smooth business operations while safeguarding sensitive data.Starlink is revolutionizing internet access for small businesses in Africa by providing high-speed, low-latency satellite internet in areas where traditional broadband infrastructure is limited or nonexistent. Many rural and remote regions struggle with unreliable or slow internet, which hinders business operations, communication, and access to global markets.
